Founding Engineer

Recepto is a platform that helps revenue teams of B2B companies get leads with high purchase intent. We strongly believe that sales should be more human and folks should should spend their time with prospects who are looking for their solution rather than pinging and spamming everybody who could potentially buy their solution.

Recepto was started by Ketan Kapoor, Dhruv Mehrotra, Aman Singh and Aryan Dhankani, an all IIT Roorkee team and all 4 of the founders have run their entrepreneurship ventures in the past. Ketan sold his last company Mettl (www.mettl.com) to Mercer in 2018. We are currently bootstrapped, 12 people strong and have around 200 businesses using our product.

We intend to raise an institutional funding round very soon.

As a founding engineer, you’d be a core part of building the foundations of Ripple. That means solving a lot of unsolved problems along with high commitment effort contributing to all things Ripple. Your primary responsibilities will be focused around building the core platform services that support Recepto, which include Services that:
- manage targeted scraping and data processing at scale,
- manage user personas of millions of people and organizations, and
- support processing ai-workloads of more than a billion tokens a day
to name a few.

Our current tech stack is built mostly using Fast-api, Quart and GoLang so experience in Python and Go development is preferred.

The role will give an up-close view of how scalable B2B tech is built and you will be a fundamental part of the team. The other primary demand of the role is to be self-driven (we don’t believe in micromanagement), we are a small and extremely agile team where people own concerns and problem statements and are drive them to contribute to the team by means of impact (the primary performance metric we gauge).
